  • Microsoft Excel for OS/2, versions 2.2, 2.21, and 3.0

SUMMARY

If you choose Define Name from the Formula menu (in version 5.0, you choose Name from the Insert menu and then select Define) to define a name for a selection on the worksheet, and you use the arrow keys while the cursor is in the selection box, the selection on the worksheet changes. In addition, the arrow keys do not move the cursor back and forth in the selection box.

MORE INFORMATION

When you choose Define Name (version 5.0 choose Name from the Insert menu and then select Define), Microsoft Excel is in the Enter mode. To use the arrow keys to move back and forth in the selection box, you must first press the F2 key and begin the Edit mode.
