SUMMARYWhen opening a file in Lotus that was created in Excel, you may receive the error message "Not a valid Lotus file." This usually indicates that the Excel file was not converted properly. Most likely you saved the file by typing a filename with the Lotus extension rather than going to the File menu, choosing Save As, selecting Options, and selecting the appropriate file format.
