SUMMARY

Objects drawn in Excel for Windows 3.00 are positioned according to an upper-left and lower-right cell coordinate. If the column width or row height is changed in the column where an object is drawn, the object's appearance will also change.

MORE INFORMATION

To keep this from happening, do the following:

  1. Select the object(s) that you do not want to change when the columns or rows are adjusted.

  2. From the Format menu, choose Object Placement.

  3. Select the appropriate box, in this case "Don't Move or Size with Cell.

  4. Choose OK.
