SUMMARYIn Microsoft Excel, if you print a document and the font for the header or footer appears different than the rest of the document, it is possible that the cells from the worksheet are formatted with a different font and/or font size than the Normal style. There are two ways to correct this:
MORE INFORMATIONThe formatting of the header and footer is controlled by the Normal style for the worksheet. You can override the Normal style, however, by using the Custom Header button and formatting the text (version 5.0 only) or by hard coding the font into the Header or Footer line in the Page Setup dialog box. Highlighting the entire worksheet and changing the font is not the same as changing the Normal style. You must choose Style from the Format menu to change the Normal style. Additionally, any other changes you make to the Normal style are applied to the entire document, including the header and footer.
