SUMMARY

When attaching text to the value or catagory axis or rotating axis text in charts and using Adobe Type Manager (ATM), the text seems to disappear off the screen.

Microsoft Excel rotates text counter clockwise and Adobe Type Manager rotates text clockwise. As a result, when you rotate text in Microsoft Excel with Adobe Type Manager turned on, you will rotate your text 270 degrees instead of 90 degrees, which will no longer fit in the area where you have attached the text.

One way to work around this problem is to format the text you want to rotate using non-ATM fonts.

Another alternative is to add the following line to the [PostScript,LPTx] of your WIN.INI file:

   [PostScript,LPTx]
   LandscapeOrient=270
