SUMMARYCombining number scaling and scientific notation in a number format will cause Excel to terminate. For example, formatting a cell with the number format "0,E+00" and then typing a number will cause Excel to give a "System Error - Divide by Zero" message and terminate.

Steps to Reproduce Problem
ResultsThe "System Error - Divide by Zero" dialog message appears on the screen. Excel is terminated. On some systems, this is immediately followed by an endless string of Unrecoverable Application Error (UAE) messages. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
