Excel: Name Changer Macro Hangs on IF StatementLast reviewed: November 2, 1994Article ID: Q70979 |
SUMMARYThe Name Changer add-in macro, included in the macro library for Microsoft Excel version 3.00, hangs if it encounters an IF statement containing a cell reference. For example, the following formula causes the Name Changer macro to stop:
=IF(B15,MyMacro())Pressing ESC or COMMAND+PERIOD returns Excel to normal. However, note that not all occurrences of the name being changed have actually been changed. The remainder must be changed manually. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
