SUMMARYTo print from Microsoft Excel to an ImageWriter as a TTY printer using Mac Daisy Link, use the following settings (NOTE: cpi = characters per inch):
12 cpi 17 cpi ------ ------Page setup settings Printer emulation Typewriter Typewriter Baud rate 9600 9600 Handshaking Xon/Xoff & DTR Xon/Xoff & DTR Data bits 8 8 Parity None None Stop bits 1 1 Lines per inch (lpi) 6 6 Line height Automatic Custom 12Worksheet settings Row height Automatic 12 Font Langley 10 pt. Langley 9 pt.DIP switch settings DIP switch SW1-6 Closed Open DIP switch SW1-7 Open ClosedNote that the printer must be turned off and then back on before any changes to the DIP switch settings will take effect. Also note that when using the 17 cpi settings, Excel will print only to approximately two-thirds the width of the page because the width of the font on screen is wider than the width of the printed font. To work around this, select a wider paper size such as Computer Paper, then insert a manual page break to the right of the last column to be printed.
