SUMMARYPage 71 of the "Microsoft Excel Function Reference" for version 3.0 shows a macro example that uses the EXEC function to run Word for Windows and open a particular document. Cell B5 of the example contains the following line:
=EXEC("C:\WINWORD.EXE","C:\MEMO1.DOC")This is a documentation error. The arguments to this EXEC function are incorrect; there should be only one argument. The corrected line should read:
=EXEC("C:\WINWORD\WINWORD.EXE C:\MEMO1.DOC") REFERENCES"Microsoft Excel Function Reference," version 3.0, page 71
