Data Form Will Not Work with an External Database in ExcelLast reviewed: November 2, 1994Article ID: Q71939 |
SUMMARYYou will receive the error message "Database Range is Not Valid" in Microsoft Excel 3.00 if you choose Form from the Data menu and your defined name "Database" refers to a range on a separate sheet (that is, you have set an external database). This worked correctly in earlier versions of Excel. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
