Data Form Will Not Work with an External Database in Excel

SUMMARY

You will receive the error message "Database Range is Not Valid" in Microsoft Excel 3.00 if you choose Form from the Data menu and your defined name "Database" refers to a range on a separate sheet (that is, you have set an external database). This worked correctly in earlier versions of Excel.
