SUMMARYTo edit an embedded chart on a worksheet, you must first unhide it. This is done manually by double-clicking the embedded (object-linked) chart, which brings up a separate chart window. To accomplish the same step using a macro, use the UNHIDE function.
MORE INFORMATIONThe "Function Reference" states that you can use the following function to display an embedded chart window:
UNHIDE("Sheet1 Chart2")This is incorrect because chart objects retain names that include a space between the word "chart" and the number "2". For example, instead of "Chart2" it should read "Chart 2". The UNHIDE function should read as follows:
