Video Seven VRAM II with Excel and MS-DOS 5.0 Causes UAE

SUMMARY

According to Video Seven technical support, Unrecoverable Application Errors (UAEs) may occur when printing large complex documents in Excel after upgrading to MS-DOS version 5.0. This problem seems to occur using Video Seven's 1 MB, VRAM II video adapter with 256 colors and its current driver (version 1.04 as of 9/91).

According to Video Seven, there is no reported problem using the VRAM 512K, 16-color video adapter and its respective driver.
