Summary:
If you open multiple linked Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh version 3.0 documents from the Finder, you may receive the following error message:
Update references to unopened documents?With System 7.0, the message appears once for each document that contains links to unopened files. With System 6.0, the message appears only once for the entire set of selected documents. This difference is the result of a modification to the way files are opened under System 7.0. More Information: To avoid receiving this error message, open the Excel files in such a way that supporting documents are already open when their dependent documents are opened. In other words, if Worksheet A is dependent on Worksheet B, then open Worksheet B before opening Worksheet A by using the following procedure:
