SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel for Windows, if the legend for a 3-D pie chart is moved from its default location, the legend may move after printing or print previewing the chart. Also, if the legend is selected (so that the black handles appear around the legend) when performing a print preview, the handles will not move to the legend's new location when returning to normal mode. In Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, the legend may not move, but when the legend is moved with the mouse, a duplicate copy of the legend may remain in the old location.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Excel listed above. This problem was corrected in version 5.0 of Microsoft Excel for Windows.
