SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, you cannot directly import the following spreadsheets:
If you are using Microsoft Excel 5.0 for Windows ------------------------------------------------ - A Symphony file if it is in the .WR1 file format. If you are using Microsoft Excel 4.x or Microsoft Excel 5.0 for the Macintosh ---------------------------------------- - A Symphony file if it is in the .WR1 file format. - A Quattro Pro spreadsheet if it is in the .WQ1 file format WORKAROUNDTo open a .WR1 or .WQ1 file in Microsoft Excel, first open it in Lotus 1-2-3, save it in a Lotus 1-2-3 file format, and then open it in Microsoft Excel. NOTE: You cannot open .WB1 files in Microsoft Excel version 5.0.
