Excel for OS/2 May Not Print to All PostScript PrintersLast reviewed: November 4, 1994Article ID: Q86610 |
The information in this article applies to:
Summary: Several printers available in the PSCRIPT.DRV file for OS/2 will cause Excel to get the following error message when printing:
"Microsoft Excel Not Enough Memory."This message is not indicative of the actual problem. It is simply a general alert message that Excel displays when unable to get the printer driver to open correctly. To work around the problem, try printing with the Apple LaserWriter II NTX driver. Often this PostScript code is common enough to print to another PostScript printer. More Information: The error may occur under OS/2 version 2.0 and 1.3. Output directed to a file with the printer options setting in the driver does not seem cause the same error. If that file can be loaded into a program that reads raw or encapsulated postscript information, the output might be printed from there. The following printers worked correctly with Excel for OS/2:
Apple LaserWriter II NT Apple LaserWriter II NTXAll other PostScript printers shipped with OS/2 that were tested returned the error described above.
