SUMMARYThe COMPARE.XLA (Windows and OS/2) and WORKSHEET COMPARISON (Macintosh) add- in macros included in the Microsoft Excel versions mentioned at the beginning of this article may generate a macro error when you compare two files that contain long formulas or other data.
MORE INFORMATIONCOMPARE.XLA (Windows and OS/2) and WORKSHEET COMPARISON (Macintosh) are add-in macros that compare two worksheets on a cell-by-cell basis and then create a new worksheet that displays the differences between the worksheets being compared. Listed below are the limits of cell comparison for Microsoft Excel 3.0 and 4.0. If you exceed these limits, you will receive the macro error messages.
