Excel: Dialog Box Definition Table Should Contain 3 Not 1

Last reviewed: September 12, 1996
Article ID: Q94422
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, version 4.0

On page 273 of the "Microsoft Excel User's Guide 2," the custom dialog box definition table contains the following error: cell O18 (column O, row 18) should contain a 3 instead of a 1. This item in the table groups the option button items that follow it. The init/result column on this line should reflect the option button that is selected. The illustration of the custom dialog box shows the third item in the group selected. Therefore, the init/result for item 11 should be 3.

NOTE: This documentation error does not occur in later versions of Microsoft Excel.
