SYMPTOMSYou cannot use the Worksheet Comparison add-in macro included with Microsoft Excel 4.0 if you are trying to do either of the following:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because of the design of the add-in.
WORKAROUNDTo compare a worksheet with a bound workbook sheet, make the bound worksheet active before you click Compare on the Formula menu. To compare two bound workbook sheets, do either of the following:
MORE INFORMATIONMicrosoft Excel 4.0 includes a Worksheet Comparison add-in macro that allows you to compare the active worksheet to another worksheet and generates a report that lists the differences.
