SUMMARYIf you are running Microsoft Excel for Windows with OS/2 version 2.0, you may receive the following error message
Not enough memoryif the DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT is set too low for the Microsoft Excel WIN-OS/2 session.
MORE INFORMATIONOS/2 version 2.0 has the ability to run Microsoft Excel for Windows in a WIN-OS/2 session. Each WIN-OS/2 session has settings that control how that session runs. The DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT setting defines the amount of DPMI (MS-DOS Protected Memory Interface) available to a particular WIN-OS2 session. The default value for this setting is 2 megabytes (MB). Increasing this setting for the Microsoft Excel WIN-OS/2 session will provide more memory to Microsoft Excel. If the application has been migrated, use the following steps:
