The Information in this article applies to:

- Microsoft Exchange Windows 3.x client, versions 4.0 and 5.0 - Microsoft Exchange Windows NT client, versions 4.0 and 5.0 - Microsoft Exchange Windows 95 client, versions 4.0 and 5.0

After you rename your Inbox in a Microsoft Exchange Windows client, you will continue to receive mail in that folder. This behavior is by design.

This does not apply to the Microsoft Exchange MS-DOS client; the MS-DOS client will not allow you to change your Inbox name.
