XCLN: Attachments Not Showing in Schedule+ 1.0

SUMMARY

When a Microsoft Schedule+ 7.0 user creates a new appointment, includes an attachment, and invites a Microsoft Schedule+ 1.0 user, the Microsoft Schedule+ 1.0 user will not be able to see the attachment.

More Information

Microsoft Schedule+ 1.0 does not support attachments, OLE embedding, or DDE. When they view the message, the following text will be displayed at the bottom of the message:

<<File Attachment: Filename.ext>>

where Filename.ext is the name of the file that was attached.

WORKAROUND

In order for the Microsoft Schedule+ 1.0 user to see the attachment, the user who created the appointment will have to send them a mail message with the attachment.
