XADM: Dialog Box Appears When Configuring Free/Busy Connector

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

The following dialog box will appear after you double-click the Microsoft Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector to configure it for the first time:

   The extended configuration data could not be found. The defaults
   will be used.

RESOLUTION

Click the OK button and the Microsoft Schedule+ Free/Busy Connector Properties page will appear. The connector can then be configured normally.

MORE INFORMATION

The dialog box message above appears instead of a dialog that states that the Microsoft Exchange Administrator's mailbox has not been configured or that the Microsoft Schedule+ Distribution List has not been configured.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 4.0 of Microsoft Exchange. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
