XADM: Property Pages Don't Expose Security of Attribute

SUMMARY

In the Microsoft Exchange Administrator program, there is no way to determine the security level needed to modify a particular object attribute.

Any user who has Modify User attributes is allowed to edit any attribute. The attributes that can or cannot be modified on a Mailbox are not readily apparent. Only after clicking on OK or Apply Now is the user notified that they have insufficient rights.
