The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server, version 4.0

The "originator name" sequence is invalid: no domain is specified,

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Exchange cannot map the PC Mail user to a valid X.400 address.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, create a complete X.400 address for the PC Mail user. To do this, do one of the following:

  • Create a custom recipient for the PC Mail account on the Exchange server

    -or-

  • Implement Directory Synchronization on the Exchange server.
