XADM: Cannot Sort Public Folders By Last Modified Date

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to sort public folders by the last modified date in Exchange Administrator, the following error message appears:

   The client operation failed.
   Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
   ID no: 80040117-0501-80040117

RESOLUTION

This is by design. You cannot sort public folders by last modified date.
