XCLN: Cannot Send Encrypted Mail to DL with Hidden Recipients

SYMPTOMS

When you use a Microsoft Exchange client for Windows to send an Encrypted message to a Distribution List that contains a hidden recipient, the following error message will be displayed:

   Microsoft Exchange
   The advanced security operation failed. You do not have sufficient
   permission to perform this operation on this object.

   Microsoft Exchange Address Book - 0 - [80070005]

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange Server U.S. Service Pack.
