XADM: Profile Wizard Fails to Upgrade MMF

SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade an MMF file with the Microsoft Exchange Profile Wizard, the old password will not be accepted if it contains any extended characters.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange Server U.S. Service Pack.
