SYMPTOMSPeriodically, the Received Date/Time fields get corrupted on version 4.0 of the Microsoft Exchange Macintosh client. This corruption occurs in both the viewer and the message.
CAUSEThe data and time resource can be flushed in low memory situations. A confirmed instance of this problem occurs when running zMail version 3.3.0 and the Microsoft Exchange Macintosh client simultaneously on a Macintosh with 8 megabytes of RAM.
WORKAROUNDDo not run zMail version 3.3.0 and the Microsoft Exchange Macintosh client simultaneously.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange Service Pack. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
