SYMPTOMSWhen you configure a profile for the Microsoft Exchange Client for Windows NT, the personal folders (.pst) file may be deleted. This can occur if the .pst file is located on a Novell NetWare server and the account creating the profile has had filescan rights revoked.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Client versions 4.0 and 5.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Exchange 4.0 and 5.0 U.S. Service Packs.
