XADM: Authrest.exe Err Msg: Dynamic Link Library Not Found

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to run Authrest.exe from the Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 CD, Authrest.exe fails and the following error message is displayed:

   The dynamic link library edb.dll could not be found in the specified
   path <PATH system variable>

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
