The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn the Developer Studio editor, using the !ms$nofreeform metacommand with a space or tab preceding it in a free-form source code file does not cause the source code following the metacommand to be correctly colored as fixed form source code.
RESOLUTIONRemove the space or tab preceding the !ms$nofreeform metacommand.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
