Last reviewed: July 11, 1995
Article ID: Q75526
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FORTRAN for MS-DOS, versions 5.0 and 5.1
  • Microsoft FORTRAN for OS/2, versions 5.0 and 5.1

SYMPTOMS

A list file generated by does not contain the complete END statement if it is split onto continuation lines. The list file may instead contain only what is on the first source line of the END statement. The program still executes correctly.

RESOLUTION

A mixed source/assembly listing can be generated by using the /Fc option on compile. The resulting .COD listing contains the END statement in its entirety.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed above.

This is not an issue in FORTRAN PowerStation, since /Fs is not supported.

MORE INFORMATION
