Can't Activate System Menu Bar in a User-Defined Window

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.5

The FoxPro system menu bar (_MSYSMENU) cannot be activated inside a user-defined window in FoxPro for Windows.

This situation is a result of working within the standard Windows interface. Placing the system menu bar in a different location is undesirable behavior in a Windows-based application. However, this limitation does not apply to user-defined menus. For example,

   DEFINE MENU TEST

can be placed in a user-defined window.
