SYMPTOMS

Changing the grid in the Screen Builder has no effect.

CAUSE

There are two grids in the Screen Builder: the visible grid and the invisible grid.

The lines of the visible grid are extensions of the ruler and are controlled by the Ruler setting in the Ruler/Grid dialog box. This grid is provided for visual reference only. Objects snap to an invisible grid. The H and V settings under Grid in the Ruler/Grid dialog box affect the granularity of this invisible grid.

RESOLUTION

Choose Ruler/Grid from the Screen menu, and adjust the H and V settings under Grid.
