The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you create a new query and choose the In descriptor under Selection Criteria, no problems occur. However, if you also use the word "IF" as the first word in the Example box followed by anything else, the system hangs when you press the TAB key.
RESOLUTIONTo solve this problem, do not use "IF" as the first text string in the Example box. List any other text string as the first example, followed by the "IF" text string.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
