The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5, 2.5a, and 2.5b
  • Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, versions 1.02, 2.0, 2.5, 2.5a, and 2.5b

SUMMARY

The MS-DOS version 6.0 or 6.2 Anti-Virus utility (MSAV.EXE) may place a file named CHKLIST.MS in the main FoxPro directory.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Anti-Virus creates a CHKLIST.MS file in each directory you scan for viruses. The first time you scan a directory, Microsoft Anti-Virus records in the CHKLIST.MS file checksums for each program. During subsequent scans, it compares new checksums with the originals to determine if the program files have changed. A difference in checksum values indicates a possible virus infection.
