SYMPTOMS

When you are using the MODIFY MEMO command, FoxPro ignores the code pages of the underlying database, causing character strings to appear in country- specific characters and accented characters to not be displayed properly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5a for MS-DOS and FoxPro 2.5a for Windows. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5b for MS-DOS and FoxPro 2.5b for Windows.
