The setting of the Clock check box affects whether the clock is displayed
and whether it is displayed in the status bar. Setting the row and column
positions causes the clock to be displayed in the FoxPro desktop.
The placement of the clock will vary based on which options have been
chosen, and in what order:
- If the numbers have not been changed in the Row and Column boxes, and
the Clock check box is not selected, selecting the Clock check box
causes the clock to appear in the status bar. The following command
appear in the Command window:
SET CLOCK STATUS
- If the numbers have not been changed in the Row and Column boxes, and
the Clock check box is selected, selecting the Clock check box causes
the clock to disappear from the status bar or from the desktop. The
following command appears in the Command window:
SET CLOCK OFF
- If the Clock check box is not selected, and row and column positions are
entered, the clock appears in the desktop and the Clock check box is
automatically selected. The following command appears in the Command
window
SET CLOCK TO <row>,<column>
where <row> and <column> are the numbers entered in the appropriate
boxes in the View window. If the Clock check box is then cleared, the
following command appears in the Command window:
SET CLOCK OFF
- If the Clock check box is selected when the clock is in the status bar,
and row and column positions are entered, the clock appears in the
desktop. The following command appears in the Command window
SET CLOCK TO <row>,<column>
where <row> and <column> are the numbers entered in the appropriate
boxes in the View window. If the Clock check box is then cleared, the
following command appears in the Command window:
SET CLOCK OFF
- If the row and column positions are entered as 0,0, the clock will
appear in the top-left corner of the desktop. Setting the row and column
positions to zero will not cause the clock to appear in the status bar.
The check box must be turned off and then back on to cause the clock to
appear in the status bar.
