MODIFY FILE <filename> NOMODIFY WINDOW <undefined window> -or- MODIFY FILE <filename> NOEDIT WINDOW <undefined window>FoxPro for Windows returns the error message "'<undefined window>' not defined." A default text editing window appears containing the file specified in the MODIFY FILE command. At this point, you can no longer enter any information in the Command window. If you issue these commands in FoxPro for MS-DOS, FoxPro displays the error message "WINDOW '<undefined window>' has not been defined." The text editing window appears, and you can still enter commands in the Command window. If you issue these commands in FoxPro for Macintosh, FoxPro displays the error message "WINDOW '<undefined window>' has not been defined."
