BUG: OLE Object in General Field Moves with @ ... SAY

SYMPTOMS

When you are displaying an OLE object in a general field with the Screen Builder, the OLE object does not stay within the boundaries provided in the Screen Builder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.5b for Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Open a database that contains a general field.

  2. Place a PICT file in the general field.

  3. Create a screen with a picture object.

  4. Select the general field and choose Clip Picture.

  5. Generate and run the screen. The picture is not clipped.
