BUG: Scrollable Lists in WIZARD.APP Jump

Last reviewed: June 27, 1995
Article ID: Q113522
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6

SYMPTOMS

When the last item is selected in a scrollable list in the WIZARD.APP application, the list will jump after you choose the Next button and then the Back button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. In the Command window, type:

          DO WIZARD.APP

  2. Scroll to the end of the list of wizards and select the last one.

  3. Select any table.

  4. Choose the Next button.

  5. Choose the Back button.

The scrollable list jumps up so that your selection is in the second position in the list. The bottom three positions in the list appear to be blank, but the items above your selection are available. To see the previous selections, scroll upward in the list.

This behavior also applies to other scrollable lists in the wizards.
