What Catalog Manager's dBASE Program Check Box Does

SUMMARY

The dBASE Program check box is located in the bottom-right corner of the Catalog Manager's Program tab area.

Selecting it SETs COMPATIBLE ON and removes the FoxPro system menu (SYSMENU is set OFF) to more closely emulate the dBASE environment.

NOTE: Selecting the dBASE Program check box does not affect all program files--only the one currently selected in the file list.

  • SET COMPATIBLE DB4

  • SET COMPATIBLE ON
