BUG: Control Panel Window Placed in Wrong Area of Screen

Last reviewed: May 16, 1996
Article ID: Q114462
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Macintosh, versions 2.5b, 2.5c

SYMPTOMS

On a multiple-monitor configuration, FoxApp will place the control panel window in the wrong area of the screen, depending on which monitor is larger than the other.

In some cases, the window is too low and too far over to the right.

RESOLUTION

To place the control window in the proper location, open the generated project file (.PJX) and reposition the windows. After you rebuild the application, the windows will be in the proper places.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro for the Macintosh versions 2.5b and 2.5c. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
