PRB: Queries Run from Catalog Manager Cannot Be Canceled

SYMPTOMS

The ESC key is commonly used to cancel programs (including queries and .QPR files) that are running in FoxPro. However, when you are running a query from within the Catalog Manager in FoxPro versions 2.6 and 2.6a, the query will keep running to completion.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Create a query in the Catalog Manager.
2. Double-click the query to run it. 3. Press the ESC key to cancel the query.

The query continues to run.
