The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSSetting PRINT to a file, setting PRINT ON, and then setting PRINT OFF creates a file with a size of 0 bytes.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5, 2.5a, 2.5b, and 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONThe expected behavior is for no file to be created.
Steps to Reproduce ProblemIn the Command window, type the following:
SET PRINT TO test.txt SET PRINT ON SET PRINT OFF SET PRINT TONote the presence of a TEST.TXT file with a size of 0 bytes.
