BUG: Printing Label w/o Output Destination Causes GP Fault

SYMPTOMS

If you are printing a label using the Label command on the Database menu, a general protection (GP) fault will occur if you have not chosen an output destination.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5b and 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Create a label if one does not already exist.

  2. From the Database menu, choose Label.

  3. Choose the From button.

  4. Locate the label in the Open dialog box, and choose Open.

  5. Clear (uncheck) the Page Preview check box.

  6. Choose OK.

An Application Error dialog box will appear with the message "FoxPro has caused a General Protection Fault in module xxxx."
