Last reviewed: June 27, 1995
Article ID: Q116178
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6
  • Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, version 2.6

SYMPTOMS

If more fields are selected in the Group/Total Report Wizard than will fit on a page, the following dialog box is displayed:

The wizard cannot fit the selected fields on the report. Select one
of the Adjust buttons to remove fields or adjust the layout, or
choose Ignore to continue without making adjustments.

       <Adjust Fields> <Adjust Layout> <Ignore>

Choosing Adjust Layout should display a dialog box that allows you to select a horizontal or vertical layout. Instead, a dialog box that prompts you to select a style is displayed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.6 for Windows and MS-DOS. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
