PRB: DEBUG Command Behaves Differently in dBASE and FoxPro

SYMPTOMS

In dBASE, the DEBUG command starts the dBASE debugger.

In FoxPro, it causes the following error message:

   Unrecognized command verb.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

In dBASE, the command "DEBUG" (without the quotation marks) starts the dBASE debugging program.

In FoxPro, the Debug and Trace commands are listed on the Program menu.

NOTE: The SET COMPATIBLE command has no effect on the behavior of SET DEBUG.
