The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSThe -V switch causes the FoxPro loader program (FOX.EXE) to display information about the system and FoxPro. When the loader that is shipped with FoxPro version 2.6 is run, the first line of information displayed gives the loader version number and copyright information as follows:
FOX - FoxPro Loader - V2.5 - <c> Copyright (c) Microsoft Corp. 1991-1993The loader version number, 2.5, doesn't match the FoxPro version number, 2.6.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.6 for MS- DOS. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
